Some Of The Things We Did This Rotary Year (2015-2016)
- Sponsored an indigenous scholar through Australian Rotary Health
- Acted as mentors to 100+ Year 11 students at Cerdon College for Australian Business Week
- Renovated and extended a garden at the Greystanes High School – as part of a visit by our sister club from George Town TAS
- Acted as mentors to selected Year 11 students at Greystanes High School
- Conducted two Community Raffles that each raised in excess of $70,000 for 55 not for profit organisations
- Donated funds to Ronald McDonald House to accommodate one family for 70 nights
- Hosted an In-House Dinner for guests at Ronald McDonald House
- Sponsored a local University Student to attend a week long Youth Leadership Awards Camp.
- Sponsored local high school students to attend
- The National Youth Science Forum;
- 3 Rotary Youth Enrichment camps
- A University of Technology Science Camp
- and a Model United Nations Assembly.
- Facilitated an awards event to recognise outstanding performance by local Emergency Services personnel.
- Facilitated a Pride of Workmanship awards event
- Facilitated an awards event to recognise Excellence in Policing by members of the NSW Police State Crime Command.
- Jointly funded a Shelter-Box for use at a future scene of a natural disaster in the world.
- Supported “Days for Girls” Program
- Made a substantial donation to Rotary’s charity,
